Julie Ege

Here is a lounge song chosen to underline the beauty of cult actress Julie Ege.
Julie Ege (1943 – 2008) was a Norwegian actress and model.
Ege was a Miss Norway and Miss Universe contestant and a Penthouse Pet. In 1967, she moved to England as an au pair.
She made her film debut in a Norwegian film "Stompa til sjøs" (Jennings at Sea). Ege appeared in 1969's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" as Helen, the "Scandinavian girl". She was described by her James Bond co-star George Lazenby as: "the most sensational piece of Nordic charm I have met". She also played in the British comedy film "Up Pompeii" (1971). She later starred in Hammer Film Productions' "Creatures the World Forgot" (she was then tagged as the new "sex symbol of the 1970s) and "The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires". Other appearances include the Gluttony segment of "The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins". In 1971 she released her debut record called "Love", written by John Lennon. With every copy came a picture of her in the nude!
Ege was married (in 1977 she had been reported to be a romance of Peter Sellers) and had two daughters. She lived in Oslo where she worked as a nurse until her death from breast cancer, aged 64. In 1977 she had said: "I'm so happy to be out of the limelight. In fact I employed a publicity agent to stop the publicity I was getting. It was too much."
Enjoy Julie Ege's glamorous looks!
